A personal enquiry into the purpose, motivations and intentions for teaching the Alexander Technique.  

An exploration of the journey towards becoming a successful Alexander Technique teacher. 

We will share and draw from our own experiences. Our journey has been characterized by consistency, commitment and perseverance, as well as the application of key principles of mindfulness teachings. These principles include non-judgment, acceptance, generosity, noticing resistance, kindness, embracing the unknown, trust, letting go and gratitude.

We will enquire into the purpose of an Alexander Technique teacher.

We will enquire into our personal motivations and intentions.

We will explore the process of becoming a successful Alexander Technique teacher through the application of key principles of Mindfulness.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Anja Myrsep

Anja Myrsep studied the Alexander Technique at the Performance School in Seattle, and with Jacqueline Webster in Zurich and with David Gorman in London. In 1998 she qualified as a teacher of the Alexander Technique. 

Priska Gauger-Schelbert

Priska Gauger-Schelbert attended the Performance School in Seattle in 1991 for three months. She was trained as an Alexander Technique teacher by Jaqueline Webster in Switzerland and qualified in 1995. She is an active member of SBAT and ATI.
