Violeta Winograd

Violeta first came in contact with Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in 2008 and since then she has delved deeper into the study and practice of it. She gives introductory workshops, facilitates practice and in-depth groups in a program that she calls, ‘Más allá de los hábitos’ (Beyond habits), which is also the name of her recently-completed book. This integrates her experiences with NVC and the Alexander Technique and also offers a social perspective.

Violeta is the co-founder of the residential event that integrates the Alexander Technique and Non-Violent Communication that has been held annually since 2010, ‘Fuera de lo Conocido’ (Outside the Known). She promoted the non-profit civil association and cultural space Oihoy Casa Abierta in 2009, from where they generate collaborative actions of social, cultural and environmental concern, employing a horizontal structure of self-management.

In 2020 Violeta discovered the TEAL organizations, Holacracy and Sociocracy. She trained at the SOPRA Sociocracy Academy and she has been integrating Sociocracy into all the work groups to which she belongs.
