Attention and Appreciation, Depth and Discernment, Connection and Surprise
Lucia Walker, with Sharyn West and Violeta Winograd, will offer in the two sessions of continuous learning:
- information about the design of our nervous system, clarifying our understanding and experience of ‘psychophysical unity’
- opportunities to wake up our discerning observer of self and to practise the quality and movement of attention that deepen our sensory appreciation.
- guided procedures to practise with others our conscious intentions as a framework for exploring the unexpected.
The three facilitators all approach the work from slightly different angles and enjoy the creativity of collaboration.

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS
Sharyn West
Sharyn graduated from university in South Africa, worked in different levels of schooling before moving to university level teaching training and research.
Violeta Winograd
Violeta trained as an Alexander Technique teacher in the years 2003 to 2006 and co-founded the Centre for the Alexander Technique in Buenos Aires in 2008. Since 2018 she has been the director of the Alexander Technique Teacher Training School in Buenos Aires (ETABA)
Lucia Walker
Enjoyment of the sense of vitality and well-being that arose from learning Alexander Technique, and a desire to support people to be more fully themselves and to express themselves more easily in their chosen life activities, stimulated Lucia to train as a teacher.
