Anja Myrsep studied the Alexander Technique at the Performance School in Seattle, and with Jacqueline Webster in Zurich and with David Gorman in London. In 1998 she qualified as a teacher of the Alexander Technique.

Anja is an experienced physiotherapist, she qualified in 1988 in Switzerland and has worked in Switzerland and the UK in hospitals, the community and private practice. In 2017 she completed a Master of Science Degree in Rehabilitation in London.

Anja’s professional journey in Switzerland and the UK has been defined by a keen insight into the intricate connection between mind and body. Early in her career, she recognized this relationship and embarked on a transformative path of learning.

Anja integrated the teachings of the Alexander Technique into her physiotherapy practice. She recognised the profound impact that developing the ability to bring our attention to the present moment has on our overall wellbeing and she immersed herself into studying and practising Mindfulness and has qualified as a Mindfulness teacher with Angus Ford-Robertson in London. Today, she shares her expertise with individuals and groups in London and internationally.

At the heart of Anja’s practice lies her fascination with the power of our thoughts. In a modern world marked by detachment from sensory experiences and prolonged screen time, she witnesses how our minds drift from the present moment, causing stress and anxiety. Through her teachings, Anja guides others towards a deeper connection with themselves, harnessing the transformative potential of mindful awareness.
