- United Kingdom

Alice Olsher grew up in California, where she studied acting and singing.

In 1971, she moved to London to attend the Drama Studio, where she was introduced to the Alexander Technique and her first teacher, Mary Holland. After working in theatre for several years, she trained with Walter and Dilys Carrington at the Constructive Teaching Centre (CTC) from 1987 to 1990.

Following her training, Alice remained at CTC as a teacher, working alongside the Carringtons, Ruth Murray, Alan Philps, and many other esteemed colleagues. She taught at CTC for 15 years before returning to California in 2005, where she established her own training programme in the Carrington tradition. Despite the move, she has maintained a close connection to CTC, continuing to visit whenever she is in London and offering post-graduate work in the same classical approach.

Alice has been part of the CTC team at previous Congresses in Chicago and Berlin and is delighted to be joining them once again in Dublin.
