The mutual correlation between physical and psycho-emotional balance

One of the fascinating aspects of the Alexander Technique is the coherence between our physical reactions, habits of movement and how we behave in life. Particularly clear and also very important to me, is the mutual correlation between physical balance and psycho-emotional balance.

During the workshop, we will experimentally explore how the fundamental aspects of the Alexander Technique – Inhibition, Direction, Primary Control, and procedures – support the return to psycho-emotional balance while restoring physical equilibrium.

We will also discover the use of our environment and surroundings (furniture, walls, sticks, etc.) to regain physical balance. Then explore and recognize the significant difference between physical and emotional balance achieved through weight supporting contact vs sensory balancing touch.
