The Egg, the Eight and the 13 Joints or The Power of Imagination

– How to convey complex content in an easy way –

Sharing material and tools for teaching group classes and individuals.

Coming from a background in dance and theatre, I was confronted with teaching the Alexander Technique to groups early in my career. Our training program did not really prepare us for this, as Alexander Technique lessons are typically taught one-on-one, with the teacher using their hands to guide the student.

But how can Alexander’s principles be effectively brought across in a group setting, especially to beginners or participants with varying levels of experience when hands-on guidance isn’t possible for everyone?

Over my 25 years of teaching, I have developed a variety of games and visual illustrations that are highly effective for teaching both groups and individuals.
