Free Public Workshop – Introduction to the Alexander Technique

A free introductory workshop for members of the public to attend and get an in person experience of the Alexander Technique. It is suitable for anyone new to the technique so if you have met anyone during this week or know anyone in Dublin please bring them along. 

It will be hosted and led by ISATT (Irish Society of Alexander Technique Teachers). We also need teachers to come and volunteer to put hands on the public for the last 30 minutes. Also you are most welcome to just come and watch and take away new ideas about how to give a public talk. 

When? Friday 8th August 2025
Time? 2.00pm to 3.30pm 
Where? University College Dublin – Newman Building Room G 107 (please allow at least 20 minutes to find the venue)
Cost? Free

ABOUT THE PRESENTERS

Richard Brennan

Richard Brennan has studied the Alexander Technique since 1983 and has been teaching individual and group sessions since 1989, having undergone a three-year teacher training course approved by STAT (UK).
