Can we talk about nothing?

If we try to do something, we cannot be receptive to an experience we have not yet had. We cannot even imagine what it might be!  How can we pass the point of trying to do and allow ourselves to be in a state of inviting the unknown?  It means putting aside the search to find a solution to a difficulty.  FM said that the right thing will do itself but do we really believe that to be so?  What is the role of trust in our teacher training and in our work?
