Alexander Technique in a Clinical Setting

This workshop will present the use of the Alexander Technique (AT) and Jessica Wolf’s Art of Breathing (AoB) as a resource and method for treatment used in a clinical mental health setting. The presenter will share her professional experience of blending AT and AoB while treating clients with symptoms/diagnoses such as emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, phobias, and chronic pain. She will also relay some scientific literature that has informed her journey. A Q&A and discussion will follow.  This workshop is intended for AT teachers curious about building relationships with clinical health professionals and learning about current trauma-informed therapeutic models.
