Wes Howard

Wes first started his Alexander journey with Bruce and Martha Fertman in 1988. Eventually certifying as a teacher in 1994 with Joan and Alex Murray. He has kept a lively teaching practice in Champaign-Urbana, Bloomington and Peoria, Illinois for the past 30 years. Wes now travels the US and Europe to give workshops and Continuing Ed teacher trainings. He continually studied and learned from his primary mentor Joan Murray for 27 years and has a special focus of applying Dart, Developmental and Evolutionary movement to the basic Alexander principles.  

Wes has a wide ranging understanding of the different lineages of the Technique; having also studied with Marj Barstow, Shoshanna Kaminitz and John Nichols.
