Gilles Rullmann is an Alexander Technique teacher based in Haarlem, the Netherlands, specializing in working with musicians and athletes. He teaches at the Conservatorium of Amsterdam, and through Artist in Balance institute at the Conservatorium of Utrecht.
As a child Gilles fell into a cauldron of Irish music. His parents brought him along in a travel cot and parked him on the stage while they were performing with their band. He picked up the fiddle at the age of eight. During his college days he studied right here at University College Dublin, where he taught Irish fiddle at the Traditional Music Society. He has been a professional performer and a very popular teacher of Irish music for 30 years.
