Radiant Performance for Actors & Singers: The 4 Key Moments

Actors and singers are eager for effective processes to be present, open and show what they can do in a pressurized performance or audition situation. Their study of the Alexander Technique can translate into creative, productive tools that can be used at crucial moments while presenting work. In this experiential workshop, we’ll look at 4 ‘key moments’ and learn specific ways to balance mind, body and breath at each of those points in time that can pave the way for vibrant performance. We’ll explore AT practices that can support performers in calming anxiety, improving focus and deepening connection to their work. Whether you are experienced working with performers, are newer to it and interested in learning more, or are a performer yourself, all are welcome to come add to their toolbox of active explorations for actors and singers!
