Demonstrations and Coaching of Using NLP and positive reinforcement to teach the Alexander Technique

Following my workshop “Using NLP and positive reinforcement to teach the Alexander Technique” on the Tuesday.  I will be demonstrating and coaching how to use my methods and available for fuller responses to questions people may have.

I believe my methods make both teaching and learning the Technique quicker, easier and more easy to understand.  I am very vocal and clear about what I want from my pupils, yet without them end-gaining.  Avoiding negative feedback, I give precise, gentle positive reinforcement when they achieve my objectives.  This way, I am able to rapidly and almost immediately teach them ongoing inhibition.  I can get them to soften and free their necks quickly, without them waggling their heads around or interfering.  I can get them moving freely without grasping for their habitual responses and I can wean them off dependency on me or any teacher and get them self sustaining in their use and application very quickly.  I believe we need these kind of qualities to spread the Alexander Technique much further at a time when the world could even more greatly benefit from it.

I will be available during the conference to exchange work and answer questions. However, Join me (on Thursday at 5.30) as I more fully demonstrate and coach my methods as well as specific useful NLP techniques. You do not need to have attended my workshop in order to attend this.

My article about my teaching methods for Alexander Technique International’s May edition of ExChange magazine will be published on my AlexanderTechniquePlymouth.co.uk website once it is published.
