The timetable has many familiar elements (like the evening entertainment and plenary sessions) plus some more distinctive features. See also the Program Overview Page for a detailed description of each program item.
There is always something going on so that at any given time there is a chance for you to choose to do something – or not.
It is specifically designed to cater to a large number of people with diverse interests and rhythms, and so we are trying to offer options if people don’t care for a particular event and would rather do something else.
As you will see below, we have a chock-a-block program, full of various events and activities. This is by design a “pick & choose” menu.
No one has to do everything, and participants need to choose how much they would like to do. You’ll want to manage your energy – and you are the only one who knows how much you can and should do.
Don’t forget to take some rest!
With the Congress program this packed and wide-ranging, we have decided to have a daily repeating timetable. This should help you easily plan your every Congress day.
We have decided that the popular activities (such as tai-chi, yoga, singing, walking, meditation and running) may even be offered twice, both in the morning and in the evening.
To further guide you through the program, every morning we’ll have a dedicated fixed segment in “Special Announcements” where we will walk you through the following Congress Day.
And you’ll find the daily schedule on info screens around UCD and at reception.
Finally, you are always invited to ask a friendly volunteer if you get stuck.
