Joe Williams

Joe Williams is currently the world’s leading practitioner of the Delsarte system. He has taught Delsarte’s work at conservatories and conferences around the world, including the Juilliard School, Cincinnati Conservatory, National Centre of Dance in Paris, Isadora Duncan Centre in Athens, and One Year Lease their company in Pipingo, Greece. His students are in leading positions in the Paul Taylor Company, Parsons Dance, Hit the Lights! Theater, American Shakespeare Center, and Dances We Dance.

Joe is particularly respected for bringing Delsarte’s teaching into the modern world, and demonstrating its applicability not only to theatrical performance, but to family, social, and professional life for anyone. School teachers, nurses and mental health therapists have found the work useful, and he applies it to his yoga classes as well.

Joe is a presenting member of the Dalcroze Society of America and ISMETA.
