- UK
On completion of the three-year STAT training course at the Brighton Alexander Technique College under the tuition of Carolyn Nicholls, Sarah went on to study for a Collaborative Theatre MA at Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. Her work with mentor, Niamh Dowling, focused on adapting the Alexander Technique to work with groups. Sarah has taught Alexander Technique workshops for actors in both the UK and India and values one-to-one work, running a private practice in Brighton.
Sarah’s Arts background led her to believe that we should be taking a creative, embodied approach to Wellbeing. She currently runs an Emotional Wellbeing Programme for teens in a secondary school and is an advocate for the power of collaboration and community in the processing of trauma. She is the Artistic Director of the Brighton-based theatre company, Tanglehead, and recent partnerships have seen her working with marginalised artists, adapting from real life, as part of The Talking Project.
