Richard Feldman

Richard served as Associate Artistic Director of the Juilliard Drama Division from 2007 to 2021.  From 2016 to 2018 he served as Interim Artistic Director of the Division.  Over the past 37 years he has directed close to 100 projects and productions, many in collaboration with Carolyn Serota.  He has also taught at the Actors Center in New York, the Chautauqua Institute, and Teatre Estudi L’Estrada in Barcelona.  

Richard has a BA from Yale University in English Literature and did his postgraduate work at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.  Richard is a native New Yorker, raised in the Bronx.
