Pamela began having private lessons in the Alexander Technique in 1975 with Frank Ottiwell and graduated from the American Center for the Alexander Technique in San Francisco in 1979 under the direction of Frank Ottiwell and Giora Pinkas.

Pamela personalizes the learning process and brings curiosity to her teaching. Each individual has unique reasons for wanting to explore the Alexander Technique and the learning process is a collaboration between teacher and student.

In addition to her Private Practice in West Los Angeles, Pamela is a teacher of teachers. She is a founding Board member (1987); currently Head of Training and Senior Faculty at The Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles (ATI-LA), an AmSAT-certified Teacher Training School.

Pamela is a Senior Teacher of Jessica Wolf’s Art of Breathing, having trained on Jessica’s first course over 20 years ago and assisted Jessica in instructing other Alexander Teachers in this work.

Pamela presents Master Classes and Workshops for other Alexander Teachers at National and International Alexander Technique Conferences and frequently in Southern California. She has presented at the Alexander International Congress in Chicago, USA (2018); in Limerick, Ireland (2015); in Lugano, Switzerland (2008 & 2011).

Pamela was honoured to be invited as the Keynote Speaker and International Teacher at the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique Conference in Melbourne (October 2019).
