Luc Vanier

Luc Vanier @integralmovementresearch (MFA, MAmSAT, MSDE) teaches graduate and undergraduate classes in ballet, somatics, pedagogy and interactive technology at the University of Utah where he is a Professor of Dance. He is also the Training Course Director of Salt Lake City Alexander Technique (SLCityAT).

As a pedagogue and integral researcher, Luc has lectured and presented his research extensively nationally and internationally. His co-authored book, Dance and the Alexander Technique, was published by University of Illinois Press (in Spanish with Pequeña Hoja). He founded the Integral Movement Research Center, and co-created Framework for Integration, a movement analysis system anchored in the way babies and animals move that helps all movers make new, healthier movement decisions and encourages more coordinated and integrated bodily use. His upcoming book, ‘Moving into Skill’ is due Summer 2025.
