Astrid Lobreyer

Since 2010 she has assisted in the training of Bruce Fertman’s Alexander Alliance School in Germany and took over in 2022 as part of a team of 7 Alexander Technique teachers.  Together with her colleagues, she focuses on the contemporary orientation of the Alexander Technique in terms of pedagogy and language, always with a view to preserving the content embedded in new forms. Her work with the Alexander Technique focuses on constantly reorienting lessons to the needs of the students and finding ways that are playful and innovative.  Her strength is listening and a down-to-earth trust in the ability of each person to connect to natural design.
